We have carp and pike, salmon and trout, zander and tench - Latvia is unique with its diversity living in its waters. As a result, there are readers focusing on one particular angling method and there are “universal soldiers”. What remains common for all of them is a true love of nature, water and fishing.
However, fishing is not just a hobby. For some, it’s also a sport. For others - business. For someone else, maybe even politics. CL looks at all aspects of fishing in an effort to clarify where there are sometimes more questions than answers.
Fishing as a hobby has many competitors - TV, video games, pubs, even work. These competitors actively try to lure our readers away from the waters. Therefore, CL aims to promote fishing as strongly as possible, both as a part of an active lifestyle and as a wonderful way to supplement the family table with healthy food.
CL is actively involved in the development of fishing policy in the country.
